We’re looking for a hands‑on, team‑focused individual to help keep our wastewater treatment sites running smoothly. Based on site, you’ll carry out essential tasks across a number of treatment sites, helping us meet important environmental, safety and customer standards. From taking samples and readings to cleaning and routine checks, your work will play a key part in protecting public health, the environment, and the communities we serve.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Carrying out day‑to‑day operational and maintenance tasks across wastewater treatment processes.
  • Helping ensure our sites meet environmental regulations and performance targets.
  • Taking a hands‑on approach to both planned and reactive work.
  • Adapting to changing tasks and priorities as needed.
  • Carry out routine checks, inspections, and maintenance tasks across operational sites.
  • Support investigations, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions where required.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to optimise contractors to deliver operational objectives.

What you’ll bring:

  • A full UK driving licence is required.
  • Experience in a related industry with similar operational environments and technical demands.
  • Knowledge of environmental output standards, compliance requirements, and procedures.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
  • Able to always follow processes and work safely.
  • Comfortable working in a physically active, hands‑on role.
  • Willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • A flexible approach to work, changing tasks and priorities.
  • Willingness and ability to work towards an accredited qualification relevant to the role.
