An opportunity has arisen for a Supplier Collaboration Specialist to join the Commercial team to support the implementation of the Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) framework as part of the Commercial Strategy and Supplier Collaboration team.

Accountabilities & Responsibilities

  • Implement the Contract Management Framework for Commercial Enabled suppliers, to define and promote the split of roles & responsibilities between Commercial Practitioners and Business Stakeholders as part of Commercial centralisation vs decentralisation model.
  • Support Commercial Contract & Supplier Management system transformation activity, through involvement in system testing, migration activity, end user training and post-go-live support.
  • Support procurement of supplier financial monitoring tool to integrate into Contract & Supplier Management system.
  • Analyse, track and report Supplier Relationship Management readiness and adoption across Commercial teams, to enable a successful delivery of the Supplier Collaboration Framework for Strategic and Commercial Managed suppliers.

Technical Skills & Experience

  • The successful applicant will have experience of successfully delivering multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience and knowledge of Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) principles is a must, ideally in a regulatory environment.
  • CIPS qualification or degree-qualified in a related subject (business, procurement, supply chain) is desirable.
  • Ability to work independently, make sense of complex information and use tools to support visualisation of process flows for non-commercial audiences.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint, experience of Procurement/ERP systems, data literacy, effective communication, presentation and stakeholder skills are a must.

Qualifications

  • CIPS qualification or degree-qualified in a related subject (business, procurement, supply chain) is desirable.
