Job Purpose
You\βll be working within a dynamic and specialist HV/LV team focusing on maintaining and operating the private distribution system. It\βs a fast paced modern environment, providing proactive, planned and reactive support in all aspects of your field of expertise.
You\βll ensure compliance with company, statutory and regulatory requirements at the same time minimising environmental impact.
The role focus on statutory inspection and testing of our fixed wired system in line with current legislation and statute.
Accountabilities & Responsibilities
As the role can require lone working and regional travel therefore, you\βll need to be comfortable working alone or as part of a team. The role may include working in confined spaces as well as the opportunity to provide input into capital and operational projects to ensure assets fully meet operational and maintenance requirements. Your duties will include the following:
- To implement an efficient electrical maintenance and installation service for the EV and BESS systems and other associated assets.
- Provide isolations and reenergisation to partners installing EV , BESS and other associated systems
- To analyse faults, rectify and ensure correct operation of electrical and systems-based equipment.
- Perform planned and proactive maintenance activities (including statutory).
- To ensure compliance with all Health & Safety regulations and internal company policies
