United Utilities delivers essential water services to homes and businesses across the Northwest and are looking for people-focused, organised individuals to join their team as a Case Manager.

About The Role

As a Customer Case Manager, you’ll take full end-to-end ownership of customer cases, managing the journey from the initial request through to successful completion. You’ll be a key point of contact for customers and retailers, ensuring a smooth, accurate, and timely service while delivering excellent customer outcomes.

You’ll also play an important role in improving performance across by consistently delivering a high standard of customer service and acting as a strong advocate for the customer at every stage of the process.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Managing customer cases from start to finish, ensuring all queries and service requests are handled efficiently and professionally
  • Acting as the customer and retailer champion, liaising with internal teams, partners, and external stakeholders to achieve swift and effective resolutions
  • Proactively chasing progress, resolving issues, and managing risks to prevent delays to service completion
  • Handling complex or specialist requests by engaging with field-based staff and ensuring information flows smoothly between office and field teams
  • Making proactive outbound calls to customers and retailers to provide updates, take ownership of issues, and maintain strong working relationships
  • Producing clear, accurate updates and responses within agreed service level agreements (SLAs)

What We’re Looking For

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across teams and with customers.
  • Proven experience working with market data systems (e.g., CMOS) and ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Strong organisational skills, capable of managing multiple priorities and meeting strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail and problem-solving ability, ensuring issues are resolved quickly and effectively.
  • Customer-first mindset, with a focus on delivering quality service and driving continuous improvement.

What You Need to Know

  • Hourly Rate- £ 17.13 PAYE, paid weekly one week in arrears
  • Location: Lingley Mere Business Park, Great Sankey, Warrington, WA5 3LP (on site full-time)
  • Start date: TBC
  • Assignment type: 12 Temporary Contract through Reed Talent Solutions, as United Utilities trusted recruitment partner.
  • Hours: 8am-4pm, 8am-5pm Rotation
