Job Purpose


As Assistant Project Coordinator within Developer Services, you will provide proactive advice, guidance, and support to the Metering Delivery Team to ensure that potential customer and third-party issues are identified early and effectively resolved.


You will serve as the key point of contact for advising the Metering Delivery Manager (MDM), Technical Liaison Officer (TLO), and project teams on the coordination of customer and third-party operations.


Working collaboratively with both internal stakeholders and external partners, you will contribute to the successful delivery of a range of small-scale and lower complexity metering projects.


Accountabilities & Responsibilities



  • Assisting the MDM and TLO in identifying customer/third-party risks as well as customer/street works issues

  • Working with the MDM and TLO to ensure effective internal/external stakeholder identification, analysis, and ongoing engagement

  • Providing direction/assistance to the MDM, and TLO on the ownership/resolution of customer contacts in compliance with the company\\\'s GSS and SLA\\\'s.

  • Contributing/Input to project reviews and monthly reports on customer/stakeholder management

  • Developing a strong working relationship and lines of communication with the relevant Area Engagement Lead.

  • Undertake assurance activities such as site visits to monitor project performance for customer and third-party activities.

  • When required, provide support to the MDM and TLO in activities and administrative tasks related to more complex projects.


Technical Skills & Experience



  • Demonstrable experience of coordinating customer and third party activities

  • Able to engage in effective communication with customers, internal and external stakeholders, and can change communication style to suit different situations

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft applications (word, excel & PowerPoint in particular)

  • Able to prioritise tasks, time & resources to deliver business targets/objectives

  • Civils construction and highways knowledge is desirable

  • This role may not be eligible for the visa sponsorship
