As well as our main office in Warrington we also recruit for a variety of roles based across the North West; we have 575 wastewater treatment works and 96 water treatment works in areas from Crewe in Cheshire to Carlisle in Cumbria. Whichever scheme you join, you'll be at the heart of bringing innovation and positive change to the water industry.

Responsibilities- Assist the project team in preparing and updating project plans, timelines, and schedules.
- Track project progress and report on key milestones.
- Support the coordination of project meetings, including scheduling, preparing agendas, and taking minutes.
- Communicate with internal teams and external stakeholders as directed by the Project Manager.
- Prepare project reports and presentations for team updates or stakeholder briefings.
Your apprenticeship will last 48 months, and successful apprentices will achieve a Level 6 Project Manager (integrated degree) standard, endorsed by the Institute for Apprenticeships. Your study will be the day-release model. Apprentices work for their employer four days a week and dedicate one day a week to university study. We are looking for an apprentice who is keen to gain hands on experience in project coordination. They must be enthusiastic for gaining new knowledge and skills and asks thoughtful questions showing genuine interest in project management. An apprentice junior project manager should be willing to take on tasks, even if they're challenging, utilising critical thinking and showing initiative in finding solutions.
Qualifications- 5 GCSEs or equivalent, grades A-C or grades 9-4, which must include Maths, English and a Science or Technology subject.
- Plus a Level 3 qualification (A-levels, apprenticeship or BTEC etc) totalling 96 UCAS points.
- You will need a full UK driving licence at time of application, as you will be required to be mobile across a range of sites.

It is essential that you live within a reasonable commuting distance of the base location of your apprenticeship. As part of your induction, you will attend a five day residential trip to the Lake District. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in a beautiful setting with your fellow apprentices. Accommodation and boarding will be provided. During your apprenticeship, you may need to travel to your place of study. If you're not local to your place of study, accommodation will either be provided or reimbursed by United Utilities during this period (excluding weekends). Please consider travel requirements and staying away from home if applicable.
