Senior Finance Manager (FTC) | Finance

This is a hybrid role working 3 days in the office (City of London location) and 2 days working from home.

Role Purpose

Ownership of financial oversight, month-end reporting, senior stakeholder engagement, Annual Report & Accounts production and team leadership

Key Responsibilities

• Management of the Financial Reporting role•
• Month end accounting and production of monthly management accounts including associated commentar
• Responding to queries from senior management including the CEO and CFO
• Preparing quarterly Board reporting
• Assist with production of the Annual Report & Accounts
• Responsible for the management and timely completion of balance sheet reconciliations
• Supporting review and production of accounting policies
• Ownership of month end close journals including the Effective Interest Rate (EIR) income postings
• Exercise financial oversight and review key financial controls

Skills and Experience

• Strong Excel and reporting skills
• Qualified accountant with a minimum of two years post qualified experience
• Highly organised and methodical, with an ability to see tasks through to completionProven ability to take ownership of core finance processes such as management accounts, with minimal handover.
