This is an office based role in the City of London.
Main Purpose
The Office Runner provides essential day‑to‑day operational support to ensure the smooth running of UTB’s office environment. This role plays a key part in maintaining a professional, efficient, and welcoming workplace by supporting Facilities, Front of House, and wider business teams with practical tasks and administrative duties. The Office Runner acts as a reliable, hands‑on presence across the office, ensuring tasks are completed promptly, colleagues’ needs are met, and service standards remain consistently high.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular floor walks to identify issues and report them promptly to the Facilities team.
- Support with setting up meeting rooms, including furniture layout, refreshments, equipment checks, and resets.
- Assist with desk moves, small‑scale relocations, and general space organisation.
- Distribute deliveries internally and support with post, courier requests, and inter‑office mail runs.
- Assist FOH during peak times with greeting visitors, escorting guests, and preparing meeting areas.
- Assist with basic facilities logs (e.g., stock levels, meeting room checks, maintenance trackers).
