The predicted salary is between 43200 - 72000 £ per year.
This is a hybrid role working 3 days in the office (City of London location) and 2 days working from home.
Role Purpose
The role will be responsible for working alongside the Sales Team to support the process of obtaining credit sanction and the completion of all formalities to facilitate the drawdown of more complex new lending facilities. It is also responsible for supporting the Head of Deal Execution in providing guidance to more junior members of the Deal Execution Team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Sales Team in finalising and presenting more complex credit proposals, in accordance with the Bank’s credit policy, credit risk appetite and credit process.
- Liaise with Credit Department on any matters that might require their input ahead of any wider discussion, feeding back as necessary to the Sales Team and the Director of SPS. This is to ensure a high standard of underwriting and establishing whether residual credit risks will result in a decline, ahead of significant work being undertaken.
- Ensure that the offer letter has been properly accepted by the Borrower.
- Negotiate and communicate with valuers, solicitors and other professional advisers to ensure that they will carry out the Bank’s instructions in a compliant and timely manner.
- Seek and obtain regular feedback from the Head of Structuring and Deal Execution during 1-2-1s, requesting additional guidance, support and coaching as necessary.
Skills and Experience
- Very strong credit risk skills and credit risk experience.
- Strong organisational skills combined with the ability to multi-task.
- A good understanding of both commercial and residential property.
- Experience in structuring and understanding complex loans across these sectors.
