This is a hybrid role working 3 days in the office (City of London location) and 2 days working from home.
Role Purpose
Support the delivery of timely and accurate financial control, management reporting, statutory reporting and audit activities, helping ensure the Bank maintains a robust and well-controlled finance function.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and post monthly general ledger journals
- Lead the preparation of Balance sheet reconciliations
- Own suspense account management, resolving queries
- Support the monthly management accounts
- Support Divisional reporting
- Assist with monthly revenue recognition
- Assist with EIR adjustment
- Technology adoption
- Efficiency initiatives
Skills and Experience sought
- The role would suit a Part-qualified ACCA, CIMA or ACA student, or recently qualified accountant
- Experience of month-end accounting
- Exposure to financial services or regulated environments is desirable
- To be organised and methodical
- Ability to communicate effectively with peers and management
- Organisation and time management skill
