We are seeking a motivated Patient Care Technician, Full Time to join our team.

Job Duties:

Panhandle Outpatient Surgery Center is an Ambulatory Surgery Center in Pensacola, Florida. It is a fast-paced ASC environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families.

Job Summary:

Assists with direct patient care, patient flow through departments, answers phones, troubleshoots for nurses, chart building, and performs specialized medical procedures of a routine nature as needed. Authorized to access storage areas for the purpose of performing patient care duties within the scope of practice.

Qualifications:

  • High school Diploma or equivalent.
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), preferred.
  • One year of experience is preferred.
  • AHA BLS certification, required.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully.
  • Possess the ability to follow established cleaning methods in performing daily tasks.
  • Knowledge of patient evaluation procedures.
  • Must be able to keep all equipment in good working condition and ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards.
