Minimum Qualifications

  • Analytical Degree: Bachelor's or higher degree in an analytical subject (e. g. Computer Science, Engineering, Maths, Physics).
  • Coding

Aptitude: 3+ years of programming experience in Rust or C++ and the willingness to learn new languages quickly.

With the expectation to contribute across Rust/Java/C++/Python codebases as required.

  • Experience with Linux development: Experience with using Linux and developing software running on Linux.
  • Experience with virtualisation and containers: An understanding of virtual machines and containerisation technologies, and experience with Docker.

Preferred Qualifications

Any of the following skills would be particularly advantageous, but we welcome applications without these:

  • Experience with data science / AI
  • Familiarity with NATS. io
  • Knowledge of networks and networking protocols (such as TCP/IP and HTTP)
  • Exposure to cryptography
  • Familiarity with SIP, audio and video coding, processing techniques, and related technologies
  • Familiarity with Git, Dev Ops, continuous integration, continuous delivery
