Who you are

  • A recent degree in a STEM field (e.g., engineering, physics, mathematics, computer science).
  • Evidence of self-motivated learning, listening, creative problem solving, critical thinking and solutions communication.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Programming experience with any of C#, Rust, or other typed languages; Interest in cloud technologies: e.g. AWS or Azure.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.

Nice to have

  • Understanding of software engineering best practices.
  • Some exposure to applied experience, e.g., internships, research projects, or personal projects.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools like Kubernetes, HashiCorp Nomad, Docker.
  • Keen interest in data-flow pipelines, databases, simulation, machine learning and/or security.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and change, in a high-growth environment, while maintaining high standards of quality and attention to detail.
  • Customer interaction experience.

Bonus

  • Existing interest in standard machine learning and deep-learning packages (scikit-learn, Keras, PyTorch).
  • Existing interest in data science and simulation workflows in the manufacturing, energy or chemical process industries.
  • Experience with high-performance computing (HPC).

We develop and support a product that connects simulations, data, and AI to empower large organisations when making informed decisions across the life cycle of engineered systems.

Where we operate

Our office is in London (White City). This position is available full time in the UK.

When we work

We offer 25 days paid annual leave, in addition to UK bank holidays.

What you will do

  • (60%) Support the development and testing of features, fixes and general improvements to the core company product. Investigate and address production issues.
  • (20%) Improve deployment processes including deployment scripting, testing, continuous integration and continuous delivery.
  • (20%) Contribute to technical reference materials including application, code and use-case documentation, technical blog posts, and educational resources for teach-in sessions and data-centric engineering seminars.
