the company is looking for a Senior PR Manager (EMEA) to lead our communications programme across EMEA during a fixed-term maternity cover.
This role goes beyond traditional PR and product launches. You will shape and execute regional communications strategy, build the company’s brand and reputation, and develop the external profiles of our EMEA leaders and experts. Working across global Communications, Marketing, Sales and regional leadership, you will turn company, product and market insights into stories that resonate with local audiences. This role offers the opportunity to influence the company’s regional narrative while strengthening communications programmes across a diverse and growing market.
At the company, we place value in our office culture - the relationships and collaboration it builds and the creativity it brings to the table. We operate as a hybrid workplace to ensure our Datadogs can create a work-life harmony that best fits them.
What You'll Do
- Own and execute the company’s EMEA communications strategy, increasing high-quality media visibility and building awareness of the company across observability, security and AI
- Lead regional communications for global product launches, company announcements and research, developing relevant local angles and coordinating commentary from EMEA spokespeople
- Build sustained regional awareness through proactive storytelling, timely commentary and thought leadership, while developing trusted relationships with technology, business and national media
- Develop the external profiles of EMEA leaders and experts through distinctive points of view, contributed content, media opportunities and effective spokesperson preparation
- Create communications plans for regional events, market expansion news and business milestones, while coordinating responses to urgent media enquiries and emerging reputational issues with global Communications
- Lead PR agencies across priority markets and partner with regional Marketing, Sales and leadership teams to set priorities, evaluate programme impact and bring EMEA insights into global communications planning
- Measure and communicate programme impact through coverage quality, Tier 1 visibility, message pull-through and other relevant performance indicators
Who You Are
- Experienced in PR or corporate communications, with 6+ years of experience and exposure to B2B technology, enterprise software or cybersecurity environments
- Experienced in leading communications programmes across multiple EMEA markets, either in-house, at an agency or through a combination of both
- Skilled in media relations and able to translate complex technology and business topics into clear, locally relevant stories for UK and European audiences
- A strong writer and editor who can develop pitches, messaging, executive briefing materials, contributed content and timely commentary
- Comfortable advising senior executives, managing agencies and budgets, using performance insights to guide priorities, and navigating multiple markets and workstreams
- Fluent in English, the company’s business language, and able to work from our London office three days a week and travel within EMEA when needed; French or German language skills are a plus
the company values people from all walks of life. We understand not everyone will meet all the above qualifications on day one. That's okay. If you're passionate about technology and want to grow your skills, we encourage you to apply.
