Role Overview: We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer with deep expertise in PHP 8+ and Laravel. You will be a key architect in our shift toward a robust microservices and event‑driven architecture. This isn’t just a "coding" role; we expect our seniors to be platform‑aware, helping us move away from a "throw it over the wall" culture to one of true engineering ownership.
Key Responsibilities
- Architecture & Development: Design and implement scalable microservices using PHP 8.4 and Laravel.
- Infrastructure Ownership: Leverage AWS and Docker to deploy and manage services. We value engineers who can navigate container orchestration independently.
- Data Integrity: Optimize MySQL for transactional reliability and utilize MongoDB or Redis for high‑performance data needs.
- Event‑Driven Design: Build decoupled systems using asynchronous patterns (SQS/Event systems) to ensure marketplace resilience.
- Testing & Quality: Implement TDD (Unit and Integration) to protect our core revenue streams.
