Role Overview
The company's Applied Sciences Group incubates disruptive technologies for next‑gen hardware products and works on projects that shape computer perception. Operating as a startup within the company, this team collaborates with research and product teams to bring new experiences, largely powered by computer vision.
As a Senior C++ Engineer, you will turn research AI/DNN models into production‑ready, high‑performance code across camera systems, GPU, and AI frameworks. The role mixes low‑level optimization and AI integration in a fast‑moving, startup‑like team.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience in C++ development
- Experience working across Windows, Linux, and Android platforms
- Strong working knowledge of
- Win32
- CMake (build systems)
- Python (scripting/automation)
- Experience using
- Git (version control)
- Continuous Integration (CI/CD tools)
- Strong computer science fundamentals
- Data structures
- Algorithms
- System design thinking
- Ability to
- Understand complex algorithms
- Implement them efficiently in production code
- Experience in
- Porting reference implementations
- Optimising code for hardware‑specific performance
- Good communication skills: can clearly explain technical concepts

Additional Details
- Location: Hybrid (1‑2 days in office, Reading, England)
- Duration: Until 30th June 2027
- Shift Timings: Monday – Friday (Business Hours)
- Pay Range: £350 – £400 /day (PAYE)
- Weekly Schedule: 40 hours
