We are seeking a skilled MVNx Platform Developer to join the Value Streams Engineering Team within Vodafone’s MVNx Platform Digital & IT function. This role focuses on designing, building, testing, and maintaining cloud‑native software components that enable secure, scalable, and high‑performing multi‑market MVNO capabilities. Working in cross‑functional, product‑centric squads, the successful candidate will contribute to delivering end‑to‑end digital experiences and customer journeys using modern engineering practices and agile delivery methods.
What you will do:
- Build high‑quality, maintainable software across backend services, APIs, data flows, and integration layers using cloud‑native and event‑driven patterns.
- Collaborate with Technical Leads, Product Owners, and Delivery Leads to refine requirements, estimate work, and deliver incremental value through agile development.
- Write clean, secure, and well‑tested code for microservices, APIs, and integration components; implement solutions aligned to architecture guidelines and platform engineering standards.
- Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and agile ceremonies (refinement, planning, stand‑ups, retrospectives).
- Contribute to test automation and quality‑first engineering practices, including unit and integration testing; support CI/CD pipelines, observability, and operational readiness to enable reliable and efficient deployment cycles.
- Diagnose incidents, resolve defects, and continuously improve platform services; maintain clear documentation and contribute to reusable engineering components.
- Support optimisation of performance, scalability, and resilience across services.
- Collaborate with external partners where applicable to sustain delivery quality and alignment with engineering standards.
