About the Job you are considering: We are seeking experienced UI Engineer (React and TypeScript) with strong expertise in Banking domain who will oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of projects.
Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.
Your Role: We’re seeking a highly skilled UI Engineer with strong expertise in TypeScript and React to help build and scale reusable UI components and applications that sit at the core of multiple strategic programmes. This role will operate at the intersection of engineering design and product working closely with cross functional teams including other engineers, architects, and UX designers to deliver high quality, performant, and maintainable user interfaces.
Your Skills:
- Strong hands‑on experience with TypeScript, React (modern hooks‑based development) and Tailwind CSS.
- Experience building component libraries and design systems.
- Experience developing end‑to‑end UI applications.
- Proven ability to translate Figma designs into production‑ready code.
- Strong understanding of UI architecture, reusable patterns, and performance optimisation.
- Experience collaborating within cross‑functional teams involving engineering, UX, and product.
- Ability to hand‑craft high‑quality frontend code with attention to detail.
