About the role

We intend to expand our team extensively, so we would love to connect with people who have strong IT and engineering skills, and a genuine passion for building, designing, and securing modern technology platforms.

We operate in a software‑defined, automation‑first environment, where everything from infrastructure to security controls is defined programmatically. Our teams work by iterating fast, deploying at pace, and continuously improving through modern engineering practices, moving away from using manual processes or siloed handovers.

We’re particularly interested in individuals who thrive in CI/CD‑driven environments, are comfortable working with Infrastructure-as-Code, and who see automation as the default, not an optimisation. This is a space where engineers have the freedom and responsibility to build, test, secure, and deploy services in an end‑to‑end, highly automated way, with quality and security embedded into products and services from Day One.

This job role can be based in London, Cheltenham, Ipswich or Manchester. Due to security requirements, this role requires you to be located on site during your working hours. Mon‑Fri 37.5. DV Security Clearance is required. Must have lived in UK for 10+ years to obtain clearance.

What you’ll be doing

  • Own and deliver engineering platform capabilities that enable teams to build, test, secure, and deploy services in a highly-automated, CI/CD-driven environment.
  • Design, implement, and evolve CI/CD pipelines, ensuring consistent, reliable, and repeatable delivery processes across multiple teams and services.
  • Embed Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices, driving standardisation, scalability, and elimination of manual provisioning and configuration drift.
  • Integrate security controls into engineering workflows, ensuring services are secure by design and comply with the highest standards, from initial build through to production.
  • Support and enable engineering teams, providing guidance, tooling, and best practices to improve delivery velocity, quality, and resilience.
  • Continuously optimise automation, identifying opportunities to remove repetitive manual tasks, reduce cycle times and improve developer experience.
