We are seeking a Service Automation Engineer (graduate/early-career) to join our Service Automation team, building automation capabilities that reduce operational toil, integrate disparate systems, and enable self‑service platforms within secure guardrails.
As a Service Automation Engineer, you will learn to automate within guardrails—developing automated workflows, integrating systems, and creating self‑service capabilities that empower internal customers while maintaining zero‑trust security boundaries. You’ll work closely with senior engineers, learning through hands‑on implementation of real automation challenges. This is an individual‑contributor role with strong mentorship—you will deliver working automation while building expertise in software engineering, cloud platforms, and enterprise integration patterns.
Key Responsibilities
- Build automation services and workflows under guidance from senior engineers
- Develop APIs and integrations across tools (e.g., Jira, GitHub, Azure, monitoring platforms)
- Create automation features following established patterns and frameworks
- Write unit and integration tests to ensure quality
- Implement logging, metrics, and observability in solutions
