What you’ll own:
- Design, develop, maintain and support critical enterprise systems and platform services that underpin Global Payments' business operations.
- Lead system enhancements, software upgrades, performance tuning and platform optimisation activities.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues, perform root‑cause analysis and implement permanent solutions.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, application, architecture and security teams to deliver resilient, scalable and secure solutions.
- Act as a technical mentor and subject matter expert, driving engineering standards, automation and operational excellence.
What you’ll bring:
- Extensive experience in systems programming within large‑scale enterprise environments.
- Strong knowledge of operating systems, middleware, automation tooling and performance tuning.
- Proven ability to analyse and resolve complex technical problems in mission‑critical systems.
