About the company
The the company Digital Tech Team (LNDT) drives the fan experience across 36 international the company sites, covering 59 countries and 33 languages. We are truly responsible for the online face of the business and are the team who help fans discover and buy the tickets they just cannot miss out on. As well as our core business with the the company sites, we support and manage over 200 festival and venue sites. These work independently but within our framework and we are required to meet their needs whilst allowing them autonomy.
The job
This role involves working in an agile software engineering team, covering the complete lifecycle of development activities from planning to delivery. Ensuring efficiency, reliability and quality of all components and features developed as well as quick response to requirements changes, which contribute to the company winning in their marketplace.
Because our business is online 24/7, you may on occasion be required to work out of hours or provide on-call duty on a rota basis.
What you will be doing
- Front end development using React, Typescript and Next.js (App Router)
- Building responsive and accessible UIs from designs in Figma using MUI and modern styling approaches (CSS Modules, CSS in JS)
- Writing unit tests (Vitest, React Testing Library) and integration tests (Playwright)
- Using Git, creating merge / pull requests, reviewing code and deploying code using CI pipelines
- Analysing requirements, breaking down into pieces of work and estimating effort
- Using best practices and maintaining a high-quality code base
What you need to know
- HTML5, CSS, JavaScript and TypeScript
- React β context, hooks, reusable and performant UIs
- Next.js (ideally with App Router)
- Data fetching
- Making accessible websites to WCAG AAA standard
- Working with internationalised applications
- Debugging and problem-solving skills
