As a Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase in the FX Services Technology team within the Macro eTrading group, you will play a key role in designing, building, and delivering innovative technology solutions. You will collaborate with talented colleagues in an agile environment, ensuring our products are secure, stable, and scalable. Job Responsibilities

• Execute creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting to address complex challenges.
• Develop secure, high-quality production code and review and debug code written by others.
• Identify opportunities to eliminate or automate recurring issues to improve operational stability.
• Lead evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to assess architectural designs and technical credentials.
• Drive outcomes-oriented probing of applicability for use within existing systems and information architecture.
• Lead communities of practice across Software Engineering to promote awareness and adoption of new technologies.
• Contribute to a team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Proficient in front-end frameworks such as React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience building high-performance desktop or web applications.
• Experience with test-driven development, modern source control, and continuous integration.
• Understanding of the full software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
• Clear understanding of UX methodologies and a passion for interactive design.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

• Experience in solution design, software testing, and production support.
• Experience in relevant domains, including the financial sector.
• Familiarity with design tools such as Figma.
• Familiarity with Java, Kotlin, Spring Boot, or Spring.
