Get to know our Finance team — what drives us, how we work, and what you can expect.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be joining the Global Supply Chain team, responsible for getting physical goods—courier apparel, equipment, in-store technology, and consumables to our riders, merchants, and partners across every market. Sitting underneath the Senior Commercial Manager, you will build and execute sourcing strategies, lead complex international negotiations, and manage supplier performance across the DoorDash, the company, and Wolt ecosystem.
Here’s what your day-to-day might look like:
- Sourcing Strategy & Execution
- Translate category strategies into actionable sourcing plans across warehousing, last-mile fulfilment, apparel, manufacturing, and consumables, driving consolidation across our brands.
- Lead end-to-end competitive sourcing events, utilising spend analytics, market intelligence, and total cost of ownership (TCO) modelling to secure optimal commercial outcomes.
- Build and execute robust negotiation positions, focusing on unit cost, freight, duty, quality protections, and working capital impact.
- Contract & Supplier Management
- Own the end-to-end contracting process in partnership with Legal, maintaining a complete contract register and enforcing lifecycle obligations, renewals, and rebates.
- Drive day-to-day commercial supplier management, conducting structured performance reviews, establishing operational KPIs, and managing Joint Improvement Plans.
- Mitigate supply chain risk and ensure continuity of supply, establishing dual-sourcing strategies, financial risk assessments, and strict ethical sourcing/modern slavery compliance across manufacturing partners.
- Partner with operational and logistics leadership to align requirements, streamline specifications, and build credibility across historically independent regional teams.
What You’ll Need to Thrive
- Significant experience in supply chain sourcing, with a proven track record delivering measurable commercial value across logistics, 3PL, or manufactured goods categories.
- Demonstrated ability in end-to-end competitive sourcing, including hands‑on contract negotiation with major international suppliers and manufacturing partners.
- Proven capability in supplier relationship and performance management, with experience handling complex commercial disputes and driving joint innovation.
- Strong analytical and financial acumen, with expertise in total cost of ownership (TCO) modelling, landed cost structures, and spend analytics.
- Exceptional stakeholder influence, with the ability to bridge operational needs with commercial outcomes across multi‑region or cross‑brand environments.
Nice to Have
- Experience sourcing apparel or hardgoods manufacturing, including factory selection, quality control, and ethical audit frameworks.
- Experience leading post‑acquisition supplier consolidation or specification harmonisation.
- Familiarity with direct/inventory‑based supply chains, including international freight, customs/duty, and working capital dynamics.
Why Join Us?
At the company, you’ll do work that matters, solving real-world problems in a three‑sided marketplace that’s constantly evolving. We’re food lovers, problem solvers, community builders and more, brought together by a shared drive to make things better.
