What You’ll Do
- As a Data Visualisation Developer, you’ll transform complex data into compelling insights through Power BI dashboards that are visually engaging, intuitive, and impactful. Your work will help senior leaders make informed decisions that directly influence policing priorities.
- Design with Purpose: Create reports that follow best practices in layout, colour, and interactivity, bringing clarity and insight to data.
- Understand the Audience: Build strong relationships with stakeholders, uncover their challenges, and translate them into actionable reporting solutions.
- Drive Engagement: Develop help guides, FAQs, video tutorials, and user-friendly resources to ensure reports are understood and adopted.
- Collaborate and Innovate: Work with a team of analysts and Power BI developers to test data quality and deliver accurate, trusted reporting solutions.
- Be a Voice for Insight: Represent the Strategic Insights Team in meetings and share your expertise with colleagues and partners.

- Proficiency in DAX, Power Query, and data modelling.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint).
- Familiarity with web development tools (e.g., HTML, CSS & JavaScript).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in Agile or Scrum environments.
