How you’ll help us make health happen
- Lead the design, build and evolution of cloud‑based platforms and infrastructure
- Set technical direction and support best practices for platform engineering
- Ensure systems are secure, reliable and scalable
- Drive automation and continuous improvement of platform services
- Collaborate with engineering, security and operations teams
- Support the delivery of applications by providing robust platform capabilities
- Monitor performance and respond to incidents to maintain service quality
- Coach and support other engineers, sharing knowledge and guidance
- Ensure solutions align with internal standards and regulatory requirements
Key Skills/Qualifications needed for this role
We're looking for a Lead Cloud Platform Engineer who:
- Has strong experience working with cloud platforms (e.g. Azure, AWS or GCP)
- Demonstrates expertise in platform engineering, infrastructure and automation
- Has experience leading or mentoring engineers
- Is confident working with deployment, monitoring and configuration tools
- Has knowledge of scripting or programming languages (e.g. Python, PowerShell or similar)
- Understands security, reliability and performance in cloud environments
- Communicates clearly and works well with a range of stakeholders
- Takes a proactive, solution‑focused approach
