Position Overview

To meet production targets, by managing the production equipment, adhering to H&S requirements, meeting PM compliance, improving and securing line efficiency, fault finding and responsible for monthly and weekly maintenance tasks.

This role involves shift work, 12-hour shifts, involving days, nights and weekend working.

Key Responsibilities

  • Health and safety checks, work in a safe manor following the company guide lines.
  • Completion of daily and monthly PMs.
  • React to breakdowns.
  • Problem solving and identifying faults.
  • Work within a team, building and sharing knowledge, lead and help the mechanics when needed.
  • Prioritize work to maximize output.
  • Communicate with your Team Leader, and communicate good and effective handovers.
  • Ensure all Quality checks and start up sheets are complete.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Engineering qualification.
  • Salary – starting at £53,265.16.
  • Flexibility and team player.
  • Time served in a similar environment (production, manufacturing, FMCG).
  • Able to understand and interpret data.
  • Engineering line work experience.
  • Fabrication and welding skills.
  • Good English and Maths.
  • Lean manufacturing experience would be desirable.
