Role: Intermediate Embedded Linux Software Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Develop & maintain existing Beamforming Embedded Software products
  • Timely delivery of software to a variety of product lines integrating with customer projects
  • Maintain code quality standards using industry recognized tools
  • Contribute to evolution of the design and product roadmap
  • Support automation tools and continuous integration methodologies
  • Take ownership of issues on products and engage with customers as appropriate
  • Produce documentation at all levels of lifecycle (concept, design, training material etc.)

Job Requirements:

  • 2 plus years of experience of full lifecycle embedded software development
  • C/C++ embedded SW engineering experience, preferably on ARM or similar processor
  • Experience working with embedded Linux (kernel and user-space development and debugging, Yocto, Buildroot, low level drivers, etc.)
  • Communication interfaces: Ethernet, SPI, I2C, UART, and USB
  • Low level Device Driver experience and ability to develop, integrate and test
  • Python/Perl scripting knowledge
  • Version Control experience (for example GIT or SVN)
  • Excellent Interpersonal skills
  • Independent, self-motivated, team player and multitasking capabilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Knowledge on RF fundamentals and communications theory desirable, but not essential
  • Knowledge of code coverage tools and unit test environments desirable, but not essential
