Role Summary and Impact
This role is within Mindshare, a leading brand within WPP Media, where you will be responsible for the strategy, development, and operations of Estée Lauder’s data infrastructure and visualisation ecosystem. This role oversees the end-to-end data flow — from ingestion and transformation within GCP to delivery through Power BI dashboards — ensuring scalable, consistent, and high-quality data solutions across markets. The role will establish global standards, drive operational excellence, and partner with regional teams and clients to enable data-driven decisioning. Supported by a mix of FTE and project-based resources, this position is accountable for building and governing both the data operations framework and dashboarding capabilities.
- Data Operations (GCP, Adverity, Data Pipelines)
- Lead the roll-out and on-going maintenance of a custom instance of WPP’s Measure “Campaign Performance” platform, which leverages Adverity, SQL via DBT, Microsoft PowerBI, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Partner with the Client Analytics team to deliver on Learning Agenda and Measurement Plan priorities in both raw and visualised data.
- Manage a roadmap and backlog of features in support of ELC’s evolving BI needs.
- Coordinate with local market stakeholders to support or lead the development of key-market-specific features.
- Own and manage the global GCP environment, including data ingestion, transformation, and governance.
- Oversee integration of data sources via Adverity and other pipelines, ensuring reliability and scalability.
- Define and implement business rules for data harmonisation and transformation.
- Partner with Campaign Performance Product/Enablement and Custom Measure Consulting teams on platform evolution and requirements.
- Establish and maintain operational processes, documentation, and quality controls across data workflows.
- Skills and Experience
- Data Visualisation (Power BI / Dashboarding)
- Take an expansive view of business intelligence and data visualisation, delivering best-in‑class dashboards and data exploration tools for media reporting, media plan visualisation, investment, and operations reporting.
- Own the global dashboarding ecosystem, including data flow from GCP to Power BI solutions.
- Define and govern filtering logic, metric definitions, and visualisation standards.
- Lead the roadmap for dashboard enhancements, scalability, and performance optimisation.
- Ensure consistency across global dashboards while enabling regional customisation where needed.
- Data Sharing & Client Partnership
- Partner with client teams to enable and manage GCP-to-GCP data sharing solutions.
- Act as the primary point of contact for data infrastructure and visualisation across stakeholders.
- Translate business and client requirements into scalable data and reporting solutions.
- Global Governance & Regional Enablement
- Define global standards for data models, business rules (including taxonomy applicability and adherence), and dashboarding frameworks.
- Coordinate with regional teams on requirements, localisation needs, and adoption.
- Balance global consistency with flexibility for market-specific use cases.
- Team & Delivery Management
- Lead a hybrid team of FTE and project-based engineering, business intelligence/visualisation, and governance resources to deliver against roadmap.
- Set priorities, manage delivery, and ensure alignment across multiple workstreams.
- Drive continuous improvement in processes, tools, and operating model.
