Responsibilities:
- Managing all exchange, CCP and vendor non-material mandatory releases for EMEA markets.
- Managing high impact regulatory changes (e.g. the introduction of UK / EU T+1 Settlement).
- Working with impacted parties and stakeholders including GECO teams, Technology partners, Front office trading business (Sales, Trading and Agency), Client Money, Transaction Reporting, Compliance, Onboarding / Client Service / Collateral and Exchanges and Industry Forums.
- Reviewing exchange, CCP and vendor mandatory releases for EMEA markets and determining applicability and impact, in partnership with Line SMEs.
- Working with Line SMEs to collate Business Requirement Documents for Technology partners.
- Providing in region support and SME to ETD Operations line teams on change governance and project tracking.
- Identifying opportunities for Continuous Improvement both within the GECO Change team, and across the broader GECO Operations team if appropriate.
Requirements:
- Experience in Exchange Traded Derivatives and / or Collateral Operations with a demonstrable track record of delivering change.
- Thorough understanding of Post Trade Execution Product Transaction Life Cycle and processes.
- Demonstrable attention to detail, and ability to understand applicability of technical releases to product line.
- Proactive communicator, able to establish credibility quickly and build relationships efficiently across peers, other teams both in UK and globally, and senior leaders.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills able to communicate complex messages simply.
- Proven track record of continuous improvement mindset.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
- Experience using Horizon and / or Agile Planning platform.
