Senior Software Engineer, Core (C++) in Cambridge

HP Wolf Security is changing the future of endpoint security through delivering secure PCs with advanced hardware-enforced security features. We are growing the R&D team in Cambridge, UK and we’re looking for an experienced software developer to join the HP Wolf Security R&D team. You will be designing and developing our innovative security solution based on micro-virtualization and contributing to new features and products.

You will be working on solving some challenging problems in letting our customers get the most out of our nifty yet secure micro-virtual machines (micro-VMs). You will be working in a small team which is responsible for ensuring that complex Windows applications run seamlessly inside these micro-VMs. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and career development opportunities.

• Developing and maintaining core features of an enterprise class product that's deployed on millions of desktops
• Improving reliability and performance of the product
• Writing unit tests and automated tests
• Working in a fast-paced environment that iterates and evolves rapidly

• Programming experience in C or C++
• Experience with development on the Windows platform
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent

• Familiarity with .NET and PowerShell

This role is based in HP’s Cambridge office under a hybrid working arrangement, with a minimum requirement to be onsite three days per week.
