Our Mission

We're not your average benefits platform - we're the driving force that uplifts people's lives.

Our technology connects the entire benefits ecosystem, creating better outcomes for employers, employees, brokers, and providers.

Our mission is clear: to build a world where everything works at its best, ensuring every employee gets the support they need to thrive, both at work and beyond.

Your Mission

As our Bid Manager, you'll own how the company wins enterprise deals through tenders and RFPs.

Enterprise is where the company's growth is, and tenders are how that growth happens.

Right now, AEs and Solutions teams are stretched across bid work and new business.

You'll take ownership of the bid process so they can focus on closing new business.

You'll write and shape responses, orchestrate inputs from Legal, Product, Security, and Commercial teams, and make sure the company shows up with the right story, at the right depth, every time.

Reporting to our COO, you will influence how we work across every major enterprise deal.

This is a high-visibility role with direct influence on how the company is perceived by our biggest prospects.

  • What you'll be working on
  • Owning our bid process end-to-end: from the moment an RFP lands to the moment it's submitted. Intake, content production, review cycles, submission, and post-submission follow-up
  • Proposal writing and editorial oversight: you'll know what depth buyers need, what story to tell at each stage, and what a procurement team actually reads versus what they skip
  • Bid qualification and prioritisation: not every tender is worth the investment. You'll assess where to put limited capacity and when to walk away
  • Turning win/loss data into better bids: bid scoring feedback, patterns across tenders, what landed and what didn't.
  • You'll feed that back into the process so the company gets sharper with every submission
  • Commercial and pricing review: you won't set pricing, but you'll pull the right numbers together, flag unusual commercial terms, and make sure the bid is commercially sound before it goes out
  • Sales

Enablement: our commercial will work with you to contribute to bids.

You'll make that easy by giving them clear briefs, tight deadlines, and templates so they know exactly what good input looks like

  • You’ll love this role if you have
  • Experience running RFP and tender processes in B2B Saa S or enterprise software: you've seen the full cycle and know the operating rhythm
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent bids under pressure: this will be a lean team, working across a variety of global bid processes
  • Familiarity with enterprise procurement: compliance requirements, evaluation criteria, panel processes etc.
  • Built or significantly developed a bid function before: this is a new function at the company - help us build it!
  • And you
  • Think with an AI-native mindset: you are already using AI to automate as much of your workflow as possible, and have thought deeply about how your role is evolving with AI in mind
  • Have great taste and design sensitivity: you know what great looks like, and what will stand out visually in front of our prospective clients
  • Have excellent writing skills: you can translate a complex product into clear, persuasive responses that land with procurement teams and C-suite evaluators
  • You will not love this role if you…
  • Need a slow pace to feel comfortable: we move fast, and we prioritise action, even when the path isn't perfectly clear
  • Are uncomfortable being accountable for outcomes: this role involves owning projects end-to-end and being responsible for making them succeed and delivering them at a high quality
  • Prefer maintaining the status quo: we want to challenge assumptions and push for better ways of working
  • Prefer a highly structured environment with established processes and clearly defined boundaries: we're still building, and sometimes that means creating the path as we go

Not sure if you meet 100% of the requirements?

That's okay - we know that not everyone follows a linear career path, and we value diverse perspectives and growth mindsets.

If you have a solid technical foundation and a strong interest in full stack engineering, we'd still love to hear from you.

That said, this role does require hands-on experience, so please only apply if you feel confident you can contribute meaningfully from day one.

Why join us?

Tenders are the key to enterprise growth at the company. This function directly drives how we win our biggest deals, and you'll be the first person to own it.

You’ll have real influence.

You're working with C-level stakeholders internally and externally, shaping how the company shows up in every major deal.

The reporting line is directly to the COO, across every enterprise opportunity.

The company is an AI-fluent company.

You'll build this function in an environment where AI tooling is already part of how the team works.

The bid process you design here will be built for that world from day one.

  • Our Compensation & Benefits
  • Competitive base salary + equity, so you own what you build
  • Bonus scheme designed to reward and recognise high performance
  • £100 monthly personal the company

Balance: for whatever works for you, whether that's Netflix, Spotify, or a really expensive cup of coffee!

  • This allowance will increase by £50 for each year of service until you reach £250
  • Weekly lunch provided in office so you can spend quality time with the team over some tasty food!
  • 28 days of holidays a year plus bank holidays, and an option to buy or sell 5 days per year. Your holiday entitlement increases to 30 days at your 3rd year of service!
  • Work-from-abroad scheme, so you can support your travels, enjoy an extended holiday, or visit loved ones.
  • Enhanced parental leave and workplace nursery scheme to support with the cost of childcare in a nursery setting
  • Comprehensive Private Medical Insurance
  • Funded Life Assurance cover with the option to voluntarily increase. This also includes an annual health check
  • Comprehensive mental health support and professional coaching through a leading provider

Diversity and culture at Ben We are organically growing a brilliantly diverse, inclusive and respectful bunch of people we are extremely proud of.

This should go without saying, but all applications are very much welcome.
