Position: Support Worker
Location: Harrogate
Hours: Part Time 16 hours per week
Salary: £13.25 per hour (sleeps £65.70)
Shifts: Friday, Saturday and a Sunday with alternative days and sleeps. Day shift 9am – 11pm, sleep 11pm - 8am.
Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK and be currently resident within the United Kingdom. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
United Response are looking for a part‑time support worker with experience in challenging behaviour and lone working for our service in Harrogate. Our support workers are the heart of everything we do. We want you to empower the people we support to live their lives how they want to, whether that’s travelling the world or spending time in their local park! All we ask is that you have the commitment and drive to encourage and guide the people we support to make this happen.
This position is all about building relationships with the people you will be supporting while helping them with their day‑to‑day routine in line with their personal support plans such as dressing, personal care, finances, medication, attending any appointments along with employment, volunteering and hobbies.

While previous experience in social care is not essential, it is vital that you bring empathy, integrity, and a genuine commitment to treating others with dignity and respect.
