Role: Female Support Worker

Salary: £12.40 per hour (plus excellent benefits)

Location: Keynsham

Hours: 25 hours per week

You must hold a Full UK Driving licence and be able to drive manual vehicles to be considered for this role

Our support workers are the heart of everything we do. We want you to empower the people we support to live their lives how they want to, whether that’s traveling the world or spending time in their local park! All we ask is that you have the commitment and drive to encourage and guide the people we support to make this happen.

This position is all about building relationships with the people you will killings overshadowing supporting while helping them with their day‑to‑day routine in line with their personal support plans such as dressing, personal care, finances, medication, attending any appointments along with employment, volunteering and hobbies.

About the role

Whilst we aren’t necessarily looking for someone with previous experience, we do require that candidates have good understanding of social care. You should embody United Response’s aim to provide the very highest level of care to the person we support and always do so with a smile on your face.

The person you’ll be supporting attends a day centre from 9am to 3pm, so your working hours will typically fall outside of these times.

As part of your role, you will be using a digital app called Nourish, where all care and support plans of the people we support are held. Experience of using a digital or mobile app would be desirable however full training will be given.

The needs of this service do require the successful applicant to hold a full manual UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle. The successful applicant will also be subject to an enhanced DBS check_override the cost of which to be met by United Response.
