United Response is seeking a Bid Manager to lead the Bid Team in securing sustainable growth for United Response. You will retain existing contracts and win new opportunities ensuring our work creates lasting positive outcomes for people and communities.

What we’re looking for:

  • We’re looking for an experienced, values driven bid and growth leader with a strong track record of delivering sustainable growth through public sector bids and tenders, ideally within social care, community or not-for-profit organisations.
  • You’ll bring in-depth knowledge of commissioning and procurement, excellent bid and business case writing skills, and the ability to use market insight, data and innovation (including AI tools) to retain contracts and win new opportunities.
  • You’ll lead and develop a high-performing bid team, oversee the full bid lifecycle, and work collaboratively across the organisation to deliver high quality, competitive submissions that embed social value and reflect our values and quality standards.
  • Strong leadership, communication, project management and decision-making skills are essential, along with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Above all, you’ll champion equality, dignity and inclusion, act with integrity and accountability, and demonstrate a clear commitment to United Response’s values and the people we support.
