Job description:
Are you a skilled mechanic who takes pride in delivering the best service? Do you enjoy customer contact? We need you to deliver and maintain our fleet of fluid transfer products (pumps) and give technical support to our customers. This role is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday with opportunities for occasional weekend and overtime work.
Your focus:
- Carry out mechanical servicing and fault finding on diesel, electrical and air driven pumps
- Deliver and install / de-install our range of pumps, filtration equipment and tanks at customer sites
- Hand-over of equipment to the customer and instruct customer on correct usage
- Perform repairs and maintenance on rental equipment
- Provide guidance to other operation team members
- Monitor parts inventory and maintain minimum stock levels
Your profile:
- Maintenance experience, preferably with bias towards fluid transfer processes and products - both diesel, electric and air driven
- Essential that you have a technical background in electrical and mechanical maintenance
- Experience with plant and equipment hire business desirable
- Participate in on-call system and willingness to make occasional overnight trips
- Driving license B is essential
- Good oral and written communication skills essential
- Valuable competences: proactive, service oriented, team player, flexible and independent
- Must be IT literate
