We are looking to support and further develop our growth strategy across the UK with the introduction of this new position – National Accounts Manager – Infrastructure. The National Accounts Manager will be responsible for executing United Rentals’ growth plans, through penetration and management of existing and new National Accounts. The primary objectives are to sell our total solution package, maximize United Rentals’ exposure to the market and exceed revenue growth objectives. This NAM will also concentrate on the UK’s various water authorities.
Your focus:
- Own national revenue for National Accounts
- Develop & manage National Account plans in collaboration with area sales teams
- Outline and execute account strategies that support the local sales team to own an ongoing relationship with the customer
- Visit corporate / regional offices of national accounts to introduce United Rentals’ solutions and equipment
- Bridge the key customers’ corporate offices to their local offices/plants & connect our local sales team to develop ongoing relationships
- Help establish national pricing schedules for National Accounts
- Provide learnings to the sales team that allows better segmentation and value proposition development to increase wins and revenue growth
- Joint visits with other members of the country sales team
- Support local sales in penetration of the National Accounts
- Create long-term plan for National Accounts
- And all other duties as assigned
Travel and Location:
The position will be based in a branch and will have travel requirements. It is expected that the position may spend around 70% of the time visiting customers and branches in the country. It is also expected that travel involves visits to the European Support Office in The Netherlands or other United Rentals branches in Europe.
Experience & Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree (finance, management, economics or engineering preferred)
- Extensive sales experience in the B2B rental industry, experience in our core market sectors is preferred
- Successful National / Strategic Account Management experience
- Experience with matrix organizations and foreign support offices
- Valid regular driver’s license
