Location: National

United Rentals is looking to support and further develop its growth strategy across the UK with the introduction of this new position – National Accounts Manager – Infrastructure. The role will execute United Rentals’ growth plans through penetration and management of existing and new National Accounts, focusing on the UK’s water authorities.

Responsibilities

  • Own national revenue for National Accounts
  • Develop and manage National Account plans in collaboration with area sales teams
  • Outline and execute account strategies supporting the local sales team to own ongoing relationships with customers
  • Visit corporate / regional offices of national accounts to introduce United Rentals' solutions and equipment
  • Bridge key customers’ corporate offices to their local offices/plants and connect the local sales team
  • Help establish national pricing schedules for National Accounts
  • Provide learnings to the sales team to support better segmentation and value proposition development, increasing wins and revenue growth
  • Conduct joint visits with other members of the country sales team
  • Support local sales in penetrating the National Accounts
  • Create long-term plans for National Accounts
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Travel and Location

The position will be based in a branch with extensive travel requirements, expected to spend around 70% of the time visiting customers and branches in the country, including visits to the European Support Office in the Netherlands or other United Rentals branches in Europe.
