United Plant Services is an engineering and asset management business, renowned for providing market leading engineering support and fleet management for Heavy Mobile Equipment (HME) within the quarry and waste industry. We are part of The Briggs Equipment Group who are a leading provider of asset management and maintenance solutions across the UK and Ireland.

Responsibilities:

  • The service and maintenance of Heavy Plant Equipment
  • Fault finding, planned preventative maintenance and thorough inspections of equipment
  • Ensuring customer service is kept to a high level and any queries are addressed
  • Adhering to safety guidelines set and all policies set out by customers and United Plant
  • Complete job activity electronically and ensure all required parts to complete tasks are ordered
  • Ensuring the company vehicle is maintained to a high standard and correctly stocked
  • Ensuring customer relationships are maintained and developed through high standards of service

What will help you to excel in this role:

  • Relevant technical qualification NVQ level 3 in Plant maintenance or equivalent
  • Previous experience working on Heavy Plant and machinery
  • Experience on Liebherr, CAT, Komatsu, Volvo
  • Good understanding of hydraulic, mechanical and electrical principles
  • The ability to work independently and under pressure
  • The ability to manage and prioritise workload
  • Understanding customer needs
  • Flexible and committed employee
