Maintenance Engineer – Mobile

The Opportunity
As a Mobile Maintenance Engineer, you'll play a key role in keeping customer equipment operating safely and efficiently. Working independently across customer sites, you will service, maintain, diagnose, and repair a wide range of small plant, agricultural, and ground care equipment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Servicing and maintaining diesel, petrol, and electrically powered small plant, agricultural, and ground care equipment.
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
- Responding to breakdowns and restoring equipment to service efficiently.
- Completing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) inspections and servicing activities.
- Delivering exceptional customer service and resolving customer queries professionally.
- Accurately recording all work electronically and ensuring required parts are ordered promptly.
- Maintaining your company vehicle to a high standard and ensuring appropriate stock levels are carried.
- Building and maintaining strong customer relationships through reliable and professional service.
- Working in compliance with all customer, company, and health and safety procedures.
What We're Looking For
- A relevant engineering or technical qualification.
- Previous experience in a similar maintenance or field service engineering role.
- A strong understanding of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
- Excellent fault‑finding and diagnostic skills.
- The ability to work independently and manage your own workload effectively.
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
- A customer‑focused mindset with excellent communication skills.
- A proactive and flexible approach to work.
