The Opportunity

As a Mobile Maintenance Engineer, you'll play a key role in keeping customer equipment operating safely and efficiently.

Working independently across customer sites, you will service, maintain, diagnose, and repair a wide range of small plant, agricultural, and ground care equipment.

  • What You'll Be Doing
  • Servicing and maintaining diesel, petrol, and electrically powered small plant, agricultural, and ground care equipment.
  • Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
  • Responding to breakdowns and restoring equipment to service efficiently.
  • Completing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) inspections and servicing activities.
  • Delivering exceptional customer service and resolving customer queries professionally.
  • Accurately recording all work electronically and ensuring required parts are ordered promptly.
  • Maintaining your company vehicle to a high standard and ensuring appropriate stock levels are carried.
  • Building and maintaining strong customer relationships through reliable and professional service.
  • Working in compliance with all customer, company, and health and safety procedures.
  • What We’re Looking For

To succeed in this role, you’ll ideally have

  • A relevant engineering or technical qualification.
  • Previous experience in a similar maintenance or field service engineering role.
  • A strong understanding of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
  • Excellent fault‑finding and diagnostic skills.
  • The ability to work independently and manage your own workload effectively.
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
  • A customer‑focused mindset with excellent communication skills.
  • A proactive and flexible approach to work.
