Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end lighting design for architectural and outdoor projects, from concept development to site commissioning and handover.
- Prepare lighting concepts, renderings, photometric simulations, technical drawings, luminaire schedules and specifications.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects and contractors to ensure design quality, technical compliance (SS531 & URA night lighting guidelines) and project requirements.
- Support tenders, cost estimation and value engineering to balance design objectives and budgets.
- Review as-built drawings, maintain design standards and technical databases, and guide junior designers where required.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Lighting Design, Architecture, Electrical Engineering or arelated discipline
- 10 years of lighting design experience; outdoor, landscape or Design & Build project experience is an advantage
- Experienced in developing coordinated lighting construction and as-built drawings via BIM
- Proficient in AutoCAD, DIALux, Photoshop and SketchUp
- Familiar with relevant Singapore lighting standards andd electrical regulations
- Strong design sensibility, technical knowledge and coordination skills, with the ability to manage projects independently.
- Good written and spoken English for liaison with clients and project stakeholders
