This job posting describes UPS Warehouse Worker/Temporary Cover Driver (TCD) roles. They work inside as a warehouse worker and, when needed, drive UPS brown trucks to deliver packages to customers. Responsibilities

As a temporary cover driver (TCD):

  • Work 8 - 10 hours each day (Monday through Friday) or (Tuesday - Saturday)
  • Have excellent customer contact and driving skills

As a warehouse worker:

  • Typically work 3 - 5 hours each day (Monday through Friday) or (Tuesday-Saturday)
  • Be required to work your assigned shift (based on operational needs)

Shift expectations for busy periods include loading/unloading boxes or delivering boxes of various sizes to homes and businesses.

Additional requirements for all roles:

  • The ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
  • Stamina to handle demanding physical activity
  • Valid driver’s license (no CDL required; type varies by state)
  • Pass the DOT physical
  • Excellent customer contact and driving skills
  • Legal right to work in the U.S.
  • Temporary cover drivers must comply with UPS appearance guidelines and wear the company-provided uniform

UPS full-time delivery drivers receive an average total compensation package of $145,000 per year, including $0 healthcare premiums, up to seven weeks of paid vacation, and paid time off for holidays, sick leave, and option days.
