Overview
This job posting describes UPS Warehouse Worker/Temporary Cover Driver (TCD) roles. They work inside as a warehouse worker and, when needed, drive UPS brown trucks to deliver packages to customers. Responsibilities
As a temporary cover driver (TCD):
- Work 8 – 10 hours each day (Monday through Friday) or (Tuesday – Saturday)
- Have excellent customer contact and driving skills
As a warehouse worker:
- Typically work 3 – 5 hours each day (Monday through Friday) or (Tuesday-Saturday)
- Be required to work your assigned shift (based on operational needs)
Shift expectations for busy periods include loading/unloading boxes or delivering boxes of various sizes to homes and businesses.
Additional requirements for all roles:
- The ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
- Stamina to handle demanding physical activity
- Valid driver’s license (no CDL required; type varies by state)
- Pass the DOT physical
- Excellent customer contact and driving skills
- Legal right to work in the U.S.
- Temporary cover drivers must comply with UPS appearance guidelines and wear the company-provided uniform
