Ground Support Equipment Mechanic UPS – East Midlands Airport (EMA)
UPS is seeking a skilled and experienced Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Mechanic to join the team at East Midlands Airport. This is an airside role , working in a well-equipped workshop environment, supporting critical airport operations.
You’ll play a key role as a senior mechanic , maintaining and repairing essential equipment used in aircraft handling and operations.
Competitive salary of £41,392 + shift premium (£4.98/hour between 8pm–6am)

HGV Licence Upgrade Programme

Level 3 qualification in HGV Mechanics (or equivalent)
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
Full, clean driving licence
Ability to obtain airport security clearance
Carry out inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on GSE
Work on equipment such as deck loaders, cargo tractors, air start units, and ground power units
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults
Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
Ensure workshop cleanliness, organisation, and safety standards are met
