Job Description:
WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE NIGHTS - Part Time
Monday to Friday - 25 hours per week, 7pm start, 5 hour shifts
Polar Speed UPS, Site 2, Chartmoor Road, Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshie, LU7 4WG
£13.13 per hour
Job Purpose and Key Responsibilities:
- Picking, checking and packing of cold chain pharmaceutical products
- Liaise with customers and other departmnets
- Monitor temperature compliance of all inbound/outbound consignments
- Processing of returns (including quarantined, damaged and batch recalls)
- Ensure a high level of housekeeping/hygiene is maintained
- Carry out inventory counts
- Enter shipping and inventory data in the warehouse management system
- Prepare inevntory for deliveries and shipping
- Scanning of consignments and sorting into delivery locations
Specialised Knowledge and Requirements:
- Good working knowledge of IT packages: WMS system, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet/Intranet, Polartrack (internal system, full training will be provided)
- Good communication skills
- Team player mentality with the ability to work on own initiative
- Must appreciate the need for maintaining confidentialty
- Must be able to build effective working relationships with work colleagues and other departments across the network
- Attention to detail
