Job Summary
The Healthcare Quality Assurance (QA) Specialists monitors the overall Quality System status of the distribution center. This position acts in compliance to drug, medical device, and local regulations. Ensures quality processes are maintained through the implementation of procedures, training, and regular inspections. This position participates in internal/ client/ supplier and agency audits and participates in various projects. You maintain knowledge of healthcare quality regulation and assess the risks associated with storage and transportation of healthcare products by addressing these to higher management.
Responsibilities:
- Executes process adherence checks (PAC) based on site schedule and ensures operations are performed in accordance to the approved procedures/ Work instructions and in compliance with regulations (i.e. EU GMP, EU GDP, etc).
- Collects, assesses and presents HC quality assurance metrics.
- When delegated by RP/ QP, executes client directed quality status changes in the inventory management system (IMS).
- Supports the prompt execution of recalls and other market actions.
- Supports audits, quality management system reviews, initiation and documentation of Change Controls, events, audits and tracks them to closure.
- Supports with investigation of non-conformance and customer complaints.
- Initiates, investigates and assesses non-conformances.
- Develops corrective action plans in co-ordination with facility management and applicable subject matter experts (SME).
- Provides support to ensure license verification is performed for customers, suppliers and any other entities working within UPS facilities.
- Collects temperature data and monitors the temperature environmental conditions.
- Promotes a “quality” culture within the company.

Qualifications:
- Education: Secondary vocational education (MBO level in the Netherlands).
- Strong communication skills, stress resistant, able to speak andwrite in English and Dutch
- Working knowledge of various computer systems (specifically MS Excel) isneeded.
- High focus on Healthcare compliance.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft O365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, Access).
- Experience with ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 standards is an advantage.
- Knowledge of GMP and/ or GDP guidelines is an advantage.
- Relevant working experience in the Logistics industry.
- Able to work within time-limits (deadlines), persistent
- Ability to work with different electronic systems
