This is a remote, field-based position with approximately 40% travel across the UK and occasionally Europe.
What you’ll do:
- Generating new business across both UPS and non-UPS customers
- Managing and growing existing client accounts
- Identifying and qualifying target customers within defined segments
- Engaging key decision-makers to understand business needs and risk factors
- Developing strategic account plans to win and grow business
- Delivering compelling sales presentations (virtual and face-to-face) to senior stakeholders, including C-suite executives
- Overcoming objections and closing deals, including negotiating pricing
- Supporting onboarding and implementation, including integration into customer supply chains and systems
- Submitting quotes and working with underwriting teams
- Maintaining full visibility of your sales pipeline
- Collaborating cross-functionally throughout the sales cycle
- Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term retention
Qualifications and Experience:
- 2-5 years of B2B sales experience
- Background in logistics (essential)
- Financial services, or insurance (preferred)
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to identify customer pain points
- Confident presenter with experience engaging senior stakeholders
- Highly motivated, energetic, and results-driven
- A collaborative team player who thrives in a remote environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Finance, Risk or similar (preferred)
Compensation and Benefits:
- £40,000-£45,000 base salary + OTE £60,000-£70,000
