Maintenance Engineer Location: Tamworth Job Summary This position maintains maintenance activities at UPS package handling facilities. It involves inspection, troubleshooting, adjusting, and replacement of electrical equipment, mechanical components, and pneumatic, hydraulic, and welding equipment. The role performs preventive maintenance inspections of plant equipment such as conveyors, bulk carts, and power industrial equipment, and may perform other tasks as requested. Responsibilities
- Respond to internal customers.
- Respond to facility alarms and emergencies.
- Troubleshoot problems that arise within the sortation system and facility.
- Perform preventative maintenance.
Qualifications
- Industry recognized qualifications in engineering preferred
- Electrical experience preferred
- Preferred programming experience including troubleshooting, basic understanding of networks, motor control theory, and operation including basic AC and DC electrical troubleshooting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and elementary diagrams
- Clean UK Driving License
