The predicted salary is between 12.71 - 12.71 Β£ per hour.
This position is responsible for loading, unloading, shipping, receiving, scanning, sorting, and stocking packages.
The role may also involve operating heavy machinery and performing other tasks as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Accurate and efficient picking, checking, and packing of pharmaceutical products.
- Receipt of inbound stock: ensuring temperature compliance is maintained.
- Accurate completion of all Goods In, picking, packing and despatch paperwork.
- Entering shipping and inventory data in the warehouse management system.
- Processing of returns (including Quarantined, Damaged, and Batch Recalls).
- Undertake stock counts and cycle counting activities.
- Scanning of consignments and sorting into delivery locations.
- Transfer of goods between sites when required.
- Safely operating various power equipment.
- Identify potential gaps in processes and make recommendations for possible improvements.
- Ensure the highest level of hygiene is maintained throughout the warehouse and associated areas, in accordance with Good Distribution Practice/Good Manufacturing Practice regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma, GCSEs, or international equivalent (preferred).
- Warehouse experience (preferred).
- Temperature controlled warehouse experience advantageous but not essential.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office β Word, Excel, and Power Point.
- Team player mentality with ability to work on own initiative and prioritize workload.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with management, team leaders, colleagues and other departments across the network.
- Must appreciate the need to maintain confidentiality.
Selected candidates will undergo a standard DBS check and 3-year referencing checks.
Work Schedule
Monday to Friday β 40 hours per week β 7:30am to 4:00pm.
Salary
Β£26,439 P/A based on 40 hours at Β£12.71 per hour; overtime over 40 hours will be paid time and one half at Β£19.06 per hour.
