Responsibilities include:
- Responsibility for accurate and timely generation of picking notes and for timely creation of delivery paperwork, ensuring that all deliveries have paperwork prior to despatch.
- Collect and collate delivery notes and summaries for vehicle runs both before and after delivery, ensuring all PODs are checked and returned to Accounts for invoicing.
- Collate statistics on performance, costs and reasons for usage of carriers.
- Complete daily filing of documents in an orderly manner.
- Assist in the production of a daily efficient and cost-effective route plan, including new patients, out of schedule patients, dose/regimen changes and any other requests in line with the Company's core business.
- Liaise regularly with Warehouse, Customer Care and Pharmacy staff to ensure correct control of customer orders in line with delivery schedules.
- Monitor failed deliveries and process any goods returned in a timely manner.
- Comply with the requirements of the Company Integrated Management System Procedures and Instructions as it affects/influences their work.
- Report to the Distribution Manager as necessary on a daily basis.
- Comply with all Health & Safety requirements of the job and consider the Health & Safety of others while carrying out the job.
- Conduct themselves in line with the culture defined and expected within Fresenius Medical Care.
- Comply with the Company Environmental requirements and dispose of waste according to Company Environmental Policies.
- Comply with Company rules and Policies in relation to Data Protection and Confidentiality as it applies to their job.
- Carry out other duties within reason as specified by the Distribution Manager.
